About This Project

Bairro dos Livros turned the Fenian Club into a dancefloor identical to the one that the venue once welcomed in glamourous parties at the beginning of the 20th century. With the help of the Invicta Big Band, the dancing dinner brought together readers, writers in the largest ballroom dance in Porto, with the master of ceremonies José Duarte, who recorded one of his Jazz programs live under the motto “Does the lady dance?”. The event provided on-site rental of props and make-up.
